"How do you feel about your birthday?  Do you look forward to it and remind all your friends, or do you dread it and try to keep it a secret?"

I'm quite a baby when it comes to my birthday. For the last three years it's made me sad because my mom passed away and she's not around for it. Funny, though, because she forgot it a couple of times and I resented her for doing so. Now I regret resenting her! How silly is that?
